Las Brocas sacanúcleos son aplicadas principalmente en máquinas de Taladro magnético, las cuales ostentan por tener altas tolerencias de rotor. Por regla general, los orificios de perforación son ligeramente más grandes que el diámetro de la Broca sacanúcleos. Por esta razón, las Brocas sacanúcleos se fabrica en tolerancias negativas (Ver Tabla). Si se aplican Brocas sacanúcleos en rotores de alta precisón, es posible que sean de tamaño inferior. The accuracy of the hole depends on the tolerances of the annular cutters and the precision of the machine (spindle). Core drills are mainly used on magnetic hole cutting machines which mostly have high spindle tolerances. Therefore, the holes are usually slightly larger than the diameter of the core drill. For this reason, the core drills are manufactured in minus tolerances (see table). If holes are made with an annular cutter on high-precision spindle machines, an undersize is therefore possible.
